Job description Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Specialist to join our team. The Behavioral Specialist will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, providing support and implementing behavior intervention plans. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess knowledge of applied behavior analysis. Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized behavior intervention plans - Implement behavior intervention plans and provide direct support to individuals - Collect and analyze data on target behaviors to track progress and make necessary adjustments to intervention strategies - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and effective treatment - Provide training and support to caregivers, families, and other staff members on behavior management techniques - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and medical records - Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information Requirements Master's Degree in Behavioral Health (MSW) or Doctorate in Psychology (PhD) required. Licensed by CA Board of Behavioral Sciences as an LCSW or Licensed by the CA Board of Psychologists as a Psychologist. Minimum of Three (3) years of behavioral health experience conducting therapy, completing behavioral health assessments, and managing care planning needs Minimum of two (2) years of experience with a frail or elderly population. Must Be Legal entitled to work in the United States.
