& development We are looking to hire a trustworthy and reliable
pool service technician to service and maintain our customers'
swimming pools for our location in Los Gatos, CA . As a pool
technician, your duties will include driving to the customers'
location, testing the pool water chemistry, adding chlorine, acid,
and other chemicals to balance the levels in the water. Cleaning
out, netting, brushing, skimming pools; cleaning skimmer & pump
baskets. To ensure success as a pool service technician, you should
have excellent knowledge of swimming pool chemistry and
maintenance, be able to work with hazardous chemicals and interact
with clients in a friendly and professional manner. What's in it

Pool Service Technician Responsibilities: Driving the company
vehicle to the customers location. Maintaining equipment and
chemical stock levels on-site and in the vehicle. Testing swimming
pool water chemical levels. Adding acid, chlorine, and other
chemicals to keep water levels balanced. Cleaning swimming pool
using authorized equipment. Fixing cracks or leaks in the swimming
pool structure. Servicing and fixing faulty pool cleaning
equipment. Completing paperwork and reporting service requirements
to management. Pool Service Technician Requirements: High school
diploma. Minimum 3-4 years previous experience as a pool service
technician required. Knowledge of proper pool cleaning and
maintenance methods. Extensive knowledge of swimming pool chemicals
and their properties. Ability to lift heavy equipment. Ability to
work in all weather conditions. Professional appearance. Must pass
a background check. Clean driving record.
