We'll partner with teams to empower the future of study across all markets. We're looking for an engineer who likes to see results and ship quickly from AB tests. Our experiments will help students across the globe achieve their goals.About the Role:We're looking for a Sr. Fullstack Engineer to iterate and work on Quizlet's Growth team, helping guide the future of study. This will include making constant improvements to our current platform, which is built upon modern tools like React, NextJS, Hack, and Spanner. You'll be accountable for the code quality of the domains your team is responsible for and work on a variety of tests to help people learn.We're happy to share that this is an onsite position. To help foster team collaboration, we require that employees be in the office at a minimum of three days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and as needed by your manager or the company. We believe that this working environment facilitates increased work efficiency, team partnership, and supports growth as an employee and organization.In this role, you will:

• Build user-facing features and ship experiments using React/NextJs
• Develop server-side code using
• Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement APIs
• Identify and implement performance improvements to our website
• Participate in design, code, and architecture reviews
• Observe user testing to understand and improve usabilityWhat you bring to the table:
  • 5+ years of experience building rich, interactive web applications
  • Deep experience of modern front-end JavaScript libraries and tooling - for example, we use NextJS, React, Redux
  • Experience working with server-side code and microservices - we use Hack, Node.js, and Go and relational databases
  • Demonstrated ability in system architecture and design, understanding of design patterns, and ability to solve complex technical design challenges, with attention to scalability and performance concerns
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers
  • An aptitude for experimentation demonstrated by being hypothesis-driven, metrics focused, and eager to test and iterateCompensation, Benefits & Perks:

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a starting base salary of $160,000 - $210,000, depending on location and experience, as well as company stock options
