this could be you! The HVAC Technician performs maintenance,
repairs and installation of assigned HVAC and Refrigeration
equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and various
other mechanical, electrical and building systems in accordance
with client expectations and requests. Please note: This job
posting is part of a contract bid opportunity and is intended to
identify potential candidates for inclusion in our proposal to a
client. This is not an immediate job opening. Employment is
contingent upon the award of the contract. Responsibilities:
Installed and decommissioning experiences in HVACR. Perform
equipment startups, verifying functionality and efficiency, while
adhering to company policies, IOMs, and mechanical drawings.
Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve
technical issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing system
performance. Knowledge and understanding of BMS controllers & BAS,
and ability to work with controls contractor. Interpret engineering
drawings and technical documentation to facilitate accurate
installation and maintenance procedures. Conduct comprehensive
inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and ensure
compliance with industry standards. Ability to troubleshoot and
repair Variable Frequency Drives. Provide ongoing support to
clients and internal teams, offering expert guidance and assistance
to address any concerns or challenges. Collaborate with all trades
and contractors to streamline processes. Maintain meticulous
records of service activities, including maintenance schedules,
equipment specifications, and client communications. Performs
assigned system commissioning using New England Air System
configuration and commissioning tools. Troubleshoots and resolves
HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems. Performs more
sophisticated commissioning and system diagnostics from
system-level controllers to end devices (i.e., sensors, actuators,
etc.) and finishes the required commissioning documentation.
Documents changes and provides information for as built
documentation. Provide on-the-job-training to field service
technicians when required. Perform standalone controller
programming to achieve sequence of operations detailed by project
specifications. Monitor HVAC equipment for proper operation and
settings per OEM requirements. Ability to work independently and as
a team. Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older Must possess
a valid, unexpired driver's license Must possess HVAC license in
the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be
performed Must possess EPA Universal certification credentials Must
have refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification Five (5)
years of HVAC experience are required Preferred Qualifications:
Five (5) years of HVAC experience is preferred Highly preferred OEM
level Startup both on Refrigeration and HVAC
