thing in data. Job Description Responsibilities: Drive US Wafer
Manufacturing lines to meet wafer demands, ensuring optimal
production efficiency and output. Collaborate closely with supply
chain, finance, manufacturing, engineering, and development teams
to align production goals with overall business objectives. Manage
and optimize wafer commitments, taking proactive measures to meet
all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the organization. Oversee
line loading, shipment, and expediting of wafers and inventories to
fulfill commitments and maintain customer satisfaction. Develop and
implement strategic plans to improve manufacturing processes,
reduce costs, and increase productivity. Analyze production data
and market trends to forecast future demand and adjust
manufacturing schedules accordingly. Coordinate with suppliers and
vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and equipment
necessary for wafer production. Lead and mentor a team of
manufacturing planners and logistics specialists, fostering a
culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Implement and
maintain quality control measures to ensure all wafers meet or
exceed industry standards and customer specifications. Collaborate
with the engineering team to integrate new technologies and
processes into the manufacturing line, enhancing overall efficiency
and product quality. Manage inventory levels to optimize working
capital while ensuring sufficient stock to meet production demands.
Develop and maintain contingency plans to address potential
disruptions in the supply chain or manufacturing process. Prepare
and present regular reports to senior management on production
performance, KPIs, and strategic initiatives. Ensure compliance
with all relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and
company policies in the manufacturing process. Participate in
cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall business
performance and customer satisfaction. Qualifications: Bachelors
degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a
related technical field required; Masters degree preferred Minimum
of 7 years of experience in semiconductor or hard disk drive wafer
manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role Proven
expertise in wafer capacity planning, line loading, and logistics
management Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing
processes and technologies Proficiency in production planning
software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) Excellent analytical
and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex
data and make strategic decisions Demonstrated leadership
abilities, including experience managing and mentoring teams Strong
communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to
interact effectively with all levels of the organization Proven
track record of implementing process improvements and cost
reduction initiatives Experience with lean manufacturing principles
and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification
preferred) Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and
manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite,
particularly Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for
presentations Excellent project management skills, including the
ability to lead cross-functional teams Knowledge of industry
standards and regulations related to semiconductor manufacturing
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required

deadline. Compensation & Benefits Details An employee’s pay
position within the salary range may be based on several factors
including but not limited to (1) relevant education;
qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills,
ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and
results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and
external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs. The
salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible
compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may
ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is
only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado,
New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California,
Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future. If
your position is non-exempt, you are eligible for overtime pay
pursuant to company policy and applicable laws. You may also be
eligible for shift differential pay, depending on the shift to
which you are assigned. You will be eligible to be considered for
bonuses under either Western Digital’s Short Term Incentive Plan
(“STI Plan”) or the Sales Incentive Plan (“SIP”) which provides
incentive awards based on Company and individual performance,
depending on your role and your performance. You may be eligible to
participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which
consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents,
pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all
roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all
roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan. RSU awards are
