SUMMARY:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, developing promotions, supporting field sales, building marketing programs with major accounts, developing and executing social media efforts, graphic design, and the Adobe suite knowledge a plus.
This person needs to be a self-starter, team player and function well in a fast-paced, perpetually changing environment and have the ability to manage several projects at the same time with limited supervision.
We are a fast moving, lean organization and are looking for a person who can fill this role and has opportunity for growth.
This position will lead the marketing efforts and help shape the future of a dynamic growing brand. We're looking for a talented team player with a positive and fun attitude towards work, but also disciplined and deadline driven.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strong project management skills to develop and execute marketing plans to most effectively reach and engage end consumers into the First Tactical brand.
  • Candidate will be responsible for managing and meeting timelines and deadlines, taking things from concept to strategy to execution.
  • Work with all marketing functions to assure alignment of messages and campaign executions.
  • Work with internal teams to align focus on key products and categories.
  • Develop overall best practice communication strategies and improve upon current programs.
  • Develop and design branding tools, project briefs, collateral, POS, signage, packs and displays as needed to support campaigns and the launch of products and markets..
  • Maintain third party relationships with dealers, press, bloggers, influencers, VIPS, etc.
  • Launching new products and product categories
  • Work closely with design team to create, assign, and monitor collateral creation.
  • Assist in growing brand awareness through innovative ideas and marketing concepts.
  • Maintain promo calendars and cost analysis of marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate tradeshow registration and event execution.
  • Candidate should have an understanding of true marketing cost, attribution and return on spend.
  • Candidate will be required to evaluate and effectively communicate learning, insights and effectiveness of marketing programs to guide future strategies across channels.
  • Develop metrics and conduct ongoing tracking and reporting of marketing programs for channel accounts, including ecommerce.
  • Develop overall best practice communication strategies and improve upon current programs.
  • Develop project creative briefs to kick off projects and ensure goals are met.
  • Other duties as assigned or necessary.

      Education and Experience:
      • A minimum 5 years of marketing management and planning in similar industry (apparel) is preferred.
      • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel 10% of the time across the United States.
