Your Future.As the Corporate Training Manager, responsible for delivering live and virtual corporate training programs including leadership, team development, New Hire Orientation and other programs to close skill gaps. Manages a team of training professionals responsible for learning delivery, learning management administration and instructional design support. Also responsible for providing support with logistics and delivery of other corporate training programs.WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Ensure summary aligns with full descriptions
  • Manages a team of training professionals that supports classroom delivery, LMS functionality and employee development overall.
  • Develops and delivers formal training programs for audiences of varying levels of sophistication: training programs cover specified areas such as but not limited to leadership development, functional training and other employee development programs including New Hire Orientation.
  • Monitors trainee progress during training programs and selects or develops testing and evaluation procedures at the completion of training courses.
  • Reviews current training materials and makes recommendations to improve learning experience and learning transfer to their job.
  • Ensures industry best practices are applied and employees are trained accordingly.
  • Leads the development and application of best practices for the determination of training effectiveness, including the application of applicable methods of calculating return on investment (ROI) and return on expectations (ROE).
  • Helps identify appropriate delivery methods to meet the needs of the business to include e-learning and Instructor led delivery.
  • Researches, analyzes, and recommends future internal and external training programs.
  • Administers, maintains and streamlines training processes, including participating in developing the annual Training Calendar and enrollment procedures.
  • Manages exceptional multi-day learning events to achieve training results and participant satisfaction.
  • Identifies and suggests ways to improve/streamline department processes, procedures, interactions, service and financial success.
  • Conducts special training projects assigned by manager.
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

    • High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
    • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience supporting the development and implementation of training programs to include supervisory or managerial experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 years of experience supporting the development and implementation of training programs to include supervisory or managerial experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
    • Supervisory or management experience within a learning or human resource organization.
    • Experience in the application of adult learning methods in the development of training programs specific to production/operational work environments.
    • Familiarity with delivery models and structures.
    • Familiarity with learning and content management systems.
    • Experience interacting with customers and helping solve customer needs.
    • Experience leading small sized projects.
    • Experience working in corporate settings.
    • Experience supporting and presenting to various levels of management.
    • Skilled in the use of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word at an intermediate level.
    • Skilled in the use of MS Outlook at an advanced level.
    • Required to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
    • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

      • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an Operations Management concentration plus 5 years of experience implementing corporate training programs in a production/operations environment to include supervisory or managerial experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
      • MBA/Master's degree.
      • Completion of multiple professional certificates in learning or development-related areas such as needs analysis, instructional design, training delivery, training evaluation, training administration.
      • Certified in DDI and other instructor led learning systems.
      • Skilled in the use of MS PowerPoint at an advanced level.
      • Experience leading medium to large sized projects.
      • Experience effectively presenting and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, students and the public.
      • Experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
      • Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
