Position Overview:We are looking for a dynamic and experienced nursing leader to join our team as the Inpatient Nursing Services Director. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating nursing services within designated areas of a medical center. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will drive strategic plans, ensure quality care, and manage cost-effective services while adhering to regulatory standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving our vision for excellence in nursing care.

• Collaborate with leadership to implement innovative care models and best practices
• Develop and maintain quality and utilization standards across the continuum of care
• Ensure seamless transitions for patients and establish strong partnerships within the facility
• Provide oversight for clinical areas and drive organizational strategies for efficiency and safety
• Lead recruitment, retention, and development of nursing staff for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain regulatory compliance and implement best practices for customer satisfaction
• Manage budget, resources, and performance to improve quality of care
• Enhance nursing practice through research and clinical committees
• Participate in community outreach and public relations initiativesRequirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of nursing experience with 5 years in a management role
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with advanced degree in a related field
  • Active Registered Nurse License in CaliforniaAdditional Qualifications:
    • Strong communication and leadership skills
    • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
    • Relevant certifications and ability to work in a collaborative environmentPreferred Qualifications:
      • Experience with Magnet/shared governance model
      • Knowledge of collective bargaining environments
      • Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD in Nursing
