Hospitalist required in Modesto, CA
Pay rate --- 150

--- Schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off (Wed --- Tues)
--- Looking for physicians who can work 7 days at a time Wed --- Tues. Any less than that doesn---t work with the schedule.
--- Must be BC in Internal Medicine (or if BC in Family Medicine must have 2 years hospitalist experience)
--- BE is ok if within 5 years of training
--- Base address for assignment is 600 Coffee Rd., Modesto, CA 95355
--- Hospital location is 1700 Coffee Rd., Modesto, CA 95355
--- Assignment will likely be Oct/Nov 2016 --- Feb/March 2017
--- Assignment could start sooner --- I---m waiting for more info
--- Credentialing: 60-90 days from date of submitted completed application
--- Dedicated admitter and rounder model
--- Average of 15-17 patients daily for a rounding shift (rounding shift is 6a-6p) - there are 11 to 13 rounders during each shift depending on the census.
Occasionally rounders will be asked to admit if the admitters are overwhelmed.
--- Average of 6 admissions daily for an admitting shift (admitting shift is 6:30am-6:30pm or 11a-11p) - there are 6 admitters during each shift
--- Anyone interested in nocturnal shifts: 6p-6a

--- No procedures required

--- At this time we do have an open ICU. We have 2 dedicated ICU rounders each week which are typically our group members, however, it is possible that any provider---s patient may be transferred to the ICU. In those cases we do not reassign the patient to our assigned ICU rounders. We do have intensivists that are available to consult.
