Full-time Family Nurse Practitioner needed in California!(Reference Code: KAM) Currently looking to hire a FNP at our primary care health center located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Job summary:Provide health care to members of the community in general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, family planning, and minor surgical procedures. Duties include:- Evaluate and treat acute injuries and illnesses.- Provide preventative health services.- Conduct and record physical examinations with assessment of normal and abnormal findings.- Maintain accurate medical records including appropriate tracking and follow-up.- Arrange all follow-up lab work, x-rays, outside patient care needs such as consultation with other specialized providers, and appointments with the Medical Receptionist.- Order and furnish drugs and devices according to standardized procedures, Federal Laws and Regulations, IHS Laws and Regulations, and California Laws and Regulations.- Provide patient and family education for health promotion, risk management, and disease prevention.- Interface with community organization, identify community resources, and assist patients and their families in utilizing resources. Qualifications:- California license as a Family Nurse Practitioner.- CPR certified.- One-year experience in ambulatory clinic or equivalent.- Computer skills required.- Good written and oral communication skills.
