Job Description:

We currently have exciting Physician Assistant Nocturnist position in Northern California located in the Central Valley. The Hospitalists of Modesto Medical Group, Inc. is excited to bring in a Physician Extender to the group to provide inpatient services. The group currently has two locations, one in Modesto, CA and the other location, Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, CA. This excellent position is based at Doctors Medical Center of Modesto, a 465-bed multispecialty Level II Trauma Center with 15 Operating rooms, 3 Labor and Delivery and 4 GI/IR procedure rooms, and 3 Cath Labs. Employed position (W-2)

• Doctors Medical Center is a 465-bed Level II Trauma Center -
  
• Group:-- Hospitalists of Modesto Medical Group, Inc.
  
• Facilitate overnight admissions and answer calls/pages from units
  
• Average of 5-7 total admits per night
  
• Employer contributes additional 7% of annual income toward pension plan (regardless of employee contribution), CME allowance, full benefits, and malpractice coverage
  
• Flexible scheduling; shifts scheduled in 7-8 shifts per block
  
• 1-2 physicians and 1 PA on staff during the night shift
  
• Shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM); Full Time= 14 shifts per month
