Position Summary:
Reporting to the Professional Development Director, the Psychiatric RN Educator is responsible for the assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the education activities at the facility. These activities include both general education/in-service, as well as continuing education offerings. Integral to this process is a commitment to the philosophy, goals and objectives of Doctors Medical Center & Doctors Behavioral Health Center.
Position Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Master's Degree preferred

Minimum Experience/Skills: 5+ years psychiatric teaching/precepting experience

License/Certificates/Credentials: Current CA Registered Nurse license required, valid CA drivers license and proof of automotive insurance. BLS.

Physical Demands: Lift/position up to 25 lbs. Push/pull up to 25 lbs of force.
Frequent sitting. Moderate standing, walking, reaching, stooping, and bending
Manual dexterity, mobility, touch, auditory to perform all the related duties of the position
Adequate vocal pitch and volume

Vision Requirements: Sufficient perceptive acuity (vision and hearing) to perform all the related duties of the position

Working Conditions: Occasional pressure due to calls, classes, projects. Variable schedule, up to 15% travel.
Pay range: $60.51 - $90.13 hourly
