Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/09/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience and either RCIS or ARRT with California licensure for day shifts in a cardiac catheterization setting. Responsibilities - Work in a cardiac catheterization lab performing coronary angiograms with PCI, pacemaker placement, and peripheral aortograms - Day shift schedule, option of 4x10 hour or 3x12 hour shifts, with start times between 6:45 AM and 8:45 AM - Call requirement of 8-12 call shifts per month, including one weekend of call per month - Adult patient population - Uses Epic charting system; Epic experience preferred - Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring coronary and peripheral vascular procedures and pacemaker placements - One holiday off will be approved per contract - Return staff must be gone for at least one year to be considered - Modules are completed during orientation through e-learning - Locals are accepted at a local rate - All modules are non-billable and must be completed as part of orientation Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required - Either RCIS or ARRT certification with California license required - CA Radiology Technologist license required if applicable - BLS certification required from AHA or American Red Cross - Current certifications must be in hand at the time of consideration - Experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring cath lab procedures - Epic EMR experience preferred - Must be able to report for lab work within 3-5 days of contract acceptance - 50-mile distance required to qualify for travel compensation - Must provide two references obtained within the last year Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-637074.
