Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/25/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position requiring CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and intermediate fetal monitoring. Responsibilities Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting Works with laboring and postpartum patients and newborns Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 18:45 to 07:15 Circulates in the operating room as needed Epic charting experience is preferred Modules and orientation are completed through e-learning Floating to other units may be required Core duties include caring for laboring mothers, assisting in deliveries, and monitoring fetal well-being Provide OR support for cesarean sections and other surgical procedures in Labor and Delivery Modules and e-learning orientation are required, with module hours varying by specialty Only one holiday off will be approved during the contract Local candidates are accepted at a different rate Must disclose any background issues prior to employment consideration Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from AHA or American Red Cross required Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required Minimum of 2 years recent Labor and Delivery RN experience required Prior experience circulating in the OR is required Epic charting experience is preferred Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing Two professional references obtained within the last year required Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year before reapplying Must live at least 50 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624399.
