Job Description:
Deliver safe, patient-centered care to postpartum mothers and
newborns Perform regular assessments of both mother and baby,
monitoring for complications Educate new parents on postpartum
recovery, infant care, and breastfeeding techniques Assist with
breastfeeding initiation and troubleshoot feeding concerns
Administer medications and manage postpartum pain control as
prescribed Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
including lactation consultants and pediatricians Document
assessments, interventions, and patient teaching accurately and
timely Support rooming-in and promote bonding and early
skin-to-skin contact
