Job Description TPMG is seeking a full-time BE/BC Pediatric Neonatologist physician to join our team in Modesto, CA. The NICU at Kaiser Permanente Modesto is a California Children’s Services (CCS) certified community level 3 NICU with 24 beds. We offer level 3 care in our NICU including high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and ROP laser surgery. We have a full complement of pediatric subspecialists available 24 hours a day via telemedicine or some are on site. Babies requiring cardiothoracic surgery or ECMO are referred outside of the Kaiser Permanente network. There are ~4000 deliveries per year in our L&D. Our NICU average daily census is 13, with peak season which is around summer of 15-20 ADC. Our department consists of 5 neonatologists and 9 Pediatric Hospitalists. As a group we provide care to the NICU, labor and delivery, and newborn nursery. We also have many opportunities to do rewarding committee and QI project work. Requirements: Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine or eligible for board certification and expected to be certified within 3 years of hire.
