Gould Medical Group is looking for a board-certified Family Medicine Core Faculty physician in Modesto, CA. Gould Medical Group is a growing, 525 clinician multi-specialty group located about two hours east of San Francisco, California. Our communities offer quick access to the bay area as well as other hot spots such as Napa Valley, Yosemite, and Lake Tahoe. Position Details: - Starting base salary: $300,000 - Two-year salary guarantee - Compensation will be a mix of salary and wRVU production after salary guarantee - Sign-on and loan options - Position requirement: serve as core faculty for recently accredited FM residency program - Mix of outpatient Family Medicine and resident teaching - Teaching is a mix of inpatient and outpatient in a variety of settings, including nursery, wards, and residency clinic (depending on interest) - Addiction Medicine or Sports Medicine fellowship a plus - Stable and growing group - EHR: Epic Qualifications of the Core Faculty Member: - Must have and maintain current certification by the American Board of Family Medicine - Demonstrate a strong interest in the education of residents - Devote sufficient time to the Residency Program to fulfill their supervisory and teaching responsibilities - Pursues faculty development at least annually to enhance their skills in the areas of education, quality improvement and patient safety, physician well-being, and patient care based on their practice-based learning and improvement efforts - Maintain a working knowledge of the most up-to-date program specific requirements - Include current licensure and appropriate medical staff appointment - Include ongoing clinical activity - Must demonstrate ongoing academic achievements in the specialty, including publications, the development of educational programs, or the conduct of research - Be licensed to practice medicine in the state of California - Have faculty experience, leadership, organizational, and administrative qualifications - Assist the site lead with resident continuity clinic operations - Core faculty members must be designated by the Program Director Standard Benefits: - Annual 12.0% 401(k) gift - Two-year shareholder track - Annual CME allowance - Full health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance - Group paid malpractice and tail coverage - Annual profit sharing for shareholders - Individual Performance Bonus - Relocation assistance Area Details: - Close proximity to the Bay Area but a lower cost of living - Short driving distance to Yosemite, wine country, Lake Tahoe, Monterey - Centrally located with quick access to skiing, hiking, surfing, and entertainment venues of various types - Rapidly growing communities - Excellent school options - Average of 260 days of sunshine annually We look forward to hearing from you: If you are interested in discussing this opportunity, please let me know.
