Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is
available for an Occupational Therapist to provide paternity leave
coverage at an elementary school in San Mateo, CA. This contract
position runs through the current school year, requiring full-time
commitment with an 8-hour workday, five days per week. Key
Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to a
caseload of approximately 35 students. Develop, implement, and
monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education
professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate and
timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
related to special education and therapy services. Qualifications
and Experience: Valid Occupational Therapist license and
credentials. Experience working in school settings, specifically
with elementary-aged children. Ability to manage a caseload
effectively while delivering high-quality therapy. Strong
communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with
school-based therapy regulations and documentation requirements.
Benefits and Work Schedule: Contract position covering paternity
leave during March and April. Full-time schedule: 40 hours per
