Job Description Group is seeking an experienced BE/BC Internal Med or Family Practice Physician passionate about community health and family medicine to join their team in California's Central Valley as PACE Medical Director. Highlights: Full-time position This position combines direct service with hands-on administrative responsibilities for the PACE Medical Services of group's PACE program Group has more than 40 primary care clinics in diverse locations of California's Central Valley Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the PACE Medical Director oversees and directs PACE Medical Services for the PACE program The PACE Medical Director is responsible for the delivery of participant care, clinical outcomes, and for the implementation and oversight of the quality assessment and performance improvement program. Engages and collaborates with the Quality Improvement department to participate in data analysis, implement quality improvement initiatives, and follow through with assigned performance improvement processes. Provides direction and supervision to all PACE primary care providers and PACE contracted specialists. Ensures the quality of related primary care, nursing, and allied health services. The Medical Director is responsible for the development and maintenance of medical policies and procedures/standards and protocols. Ensures compliance with State, Federal, and local regulations associated with PACE program requirements, including Clinic Licensure, HIPAA, and Fraud Waste and Abuse. Qualifications: Current State of California licensure Current DEA registration Staff privileges with contracted hospitals required Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice required Four years of experience as a practicing physician with an emphasis on geriatric or adult disabled populations required Experience in a Medical Director role preferred Compensation/Benefits: Salary starts at $290k a year plus bonus Salary is dependent on knowledge, skills and experience The base pay does not include other forms of compensation and/or incentives Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance PTO Paid holidays CME Stipend Days Malpractice Insurance National and State Loan Repayment eligible The Community: Enjoy life in a vibrant Central California community where affordable living meets year-round sunshine and breathtaking natural beauty.
