Key Details Assignment Type : Locum Tenens Setting : Hospital Start Date : March 11, 2023 Schedule : 7-Day Block, Shifts 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Patient Population : Adult Location : Modesto, CA Stipends : Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Provide ER trauma call coverage for cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries Perform complex procedures including open heart surgery, congenital defect repair, and aneurysm repair Manage patient care pre-and post-surgery, ensuring optimal recovery Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive healthcare services Qualifications Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery Current ACLS and BLS certifications Experience in ER trauma call, open heart, and thoracic surgery Fellowship in related specialties is preferred Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM On-call responsibilities as required Skills Proficiency in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries Capable of performing procedures such as CABG, TAVR, and various thoracic and cardiac repairs Ability to handle intense, life-saving scenarios effectively Strong collaborative and communication skills adaptable to urgent care environments
