to find a qualified Wound/Ostomy RN in San Francisco, California,
94110! Job Title: Wound Care RN Profession: Registered Nurse
Specialty: Wound Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per
Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years
required License: State License required Certifications: BLS, WOCN
Must-Have: Previous charge experience required Experience with
charting systems, specifically Epic preferred Wound care experience
required Description: Responsible for providing wound care services
and consultations. Must float to other facilities and units as
needed for wound care consults. Routine assessments and management
of various wound types including pressure ulcers and venous ulcers.
Utilize appropriate wound care products and interventions to
promote healing. Educate patients and families on wound management
and self-care techniques. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
members for optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate
documentation of patient assessments and wound care management in
the electronic health record. Ensure compliance with infection
control protocols and safety standards. Participate in ongoing
professional development and training related to wound care. 5
