Job Description Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician Madera, CA Independent Contractor with Lucrative Compensation Potential We are seeking an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join River Vista Behavioral Health in Madera, CA . With this Independent Contractor arrangement, the schedule is flexible and the compensation potential is generous. This is your opportunity to join a behavioral health facility and work alongside a collaborative care team with a strong support structure. Quick Facts Employment Type: Independent Contractor/1099 Patient Volume: 10-12 admission H&Ps, daily consult care with follow-ups for patients in behavioral health, inpatient and PHP/IOP as needed. Location: Madera, CA Practice Setting: Behavioral Health Facility, Inpatient and PHP/IOP setting. Patient population will include adults and adolescents with diverse psychiatric and substance-abuse issues. Responsibilities Perform admission H&Ps, daily consults, follow-ups. Provide medical management of routine illnesses as well as some specialty issues in the scope of patient care under a psychiatrist. There is a full team of Psychiatrist on staff at the hospital for collaboration. Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff Qualifications Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Licensed to practice in California or eligibility to obtain a CA license Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians About the Organization & Community River Vista is a newer, state-of-the-art 128-bed behavioral health hospital that opened its doors in 2023.
