Job Description Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Madera, CA This is an outstanding opportunity with lucrative
compensation and a schedule not to be matched. Work 2-3 hours per
day, Monday through Friday, with weekend coverage being optional
with additional compensation. We are seeking a full-time Inpatient
Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our dynamic medical staff
at River Vista Behavioral Health in Madera, CA . This role offers
lucrative earning potential, excellent flexibility for exceptional
work-life-balance, all while working alongside a collaborative care
team with a strong support structure. Quick Facts Employment Type:
Independent Contractor/1099. With malpractice covered by facility.
Sign on bonus, retention bonus, relocation can be negotiated.
Schedule / Hours: Flexible schedule with optional shared call
Patient Volume: daily case load of a minimum of 15 inpatient adult
patients Location: Madera, CA Practice Setting: Behavioral Health
Facility, Inpatient Responsibilities Provide inpatient services to
children and adults with a focus on regular rounding, admissions,
discharges and treatment team participation Collaborate with
physicians, APPs, and support staff Qualifications Board Certified
/ Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Licensed to
practice in California or eligibility to obtain a CA license Meet
all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
About the Organization & Community River Vista is a newer,
state-of-the-art 128-bed behavioral health hospital that opened its
doors in 2023. We offer a full continuum of inpatient services,
including specialized units catering to the unique needs of
children, adolescents, and older adults with co-occurring
behavioral health and substance-use issues. We offer robust
outpatient programs addressing prevalent behavioral health
concerns. Madera, CA is in California’s San Joaquin Valley, about
