Brief Overview As a Senior Consultant, Leadership and
Organizational Development, you will be a key leader in driving the
execution, design, and continuous improvement of Stanford Health
Cares Leadership and Organization Development strategy. You will
leverage your expertise in curriculum design, measurement, adult
learning, learning technology, and facilitation to build and
deliver systematic, multi-tier learning journeys that equip our
1,800 leaders with the critical capabilities required to champion
our culture and enable our new organizational strategy.
Furthermore, you will operate as a dedicated Organizational
Development (OD) Consultant to one or more organizations within
SHC, facilitating development experiences and OD interventions
designed to enable the new organizational strategy. This role
requires deep technical knowledge, strong execution focus, and
adaptability to translate strategic vision into high-impact,
scalable, and data-driven learning solutions. Locations Stanford
Health Care What you will do Curriculum Design and Program
Management • Curriculum Design: Drive the detailed curriculum
design, development, and launch of systematic, multi-tier learning
and development experiences for leaders at all levels. • Program
Management and Development: Manage and execute existing programs,
and lead the design and launch of key foundational leadership and
organizational development programs. • Program Facilitation: Design
and facilitate engaging and high-impact leadership development
experiences, including the rollout of Leading@SHC behaviors,
ensuring consistent capability building across the 1,500 leader
population. • ERG Mentoring Program: Lead the ongoing management,
execution, and strategy for the ERG mentoring program to support
the development of ERG leaders and underrepresented talent.
Organizational Consulting and Partnership • Dedicated OD
Consulting: Serve as a dedicated Organizational Development (OD)
Consultant for one or more organizations within SHC. • Key
Partnerships: Partner closely with HRBPs and other HR leaders to
incorporate their input, build awareness, adoption, and drive
process improvement. • Knowledge Sharing: Proactively share
knowledge and expertise to help others to develop and grow.
Innovation and Measurement • Digital Innovation: Incorporate
digital learning innovations, evidence-based practices, and
marketplace trends into curriculum design and program delivery to
ensure continuous improvement and impact. • AI Integration: Enable
the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the leadership
or organizational development ecosystem. Leverage AI to enhance
leadership capabilities at scale and enhance organizational
effectiveness. • Measurement Strategy: Collaborate with colleagues
to design and implement a comprehensive measurement and evaluation
strategy for all talent development programs to effectively assess
program effectiveness, business impact, and the effectiveness of
our leaders. Education Qualifications Bachelors degree in a
relevant discipline from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Education/Certification: Masters degree in a related
field (e.g., Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational
Psychology, Human Resources, or Business Administration/MBA)
strongly preferred. Specialized certifications in leadership and/or
organizational development are a plus. Experience Qualifications 7
years of progressive experience in leadership and/or organizational
development Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Technical and
Program Mastery • Mastery in Curriculum Design: Demonstrated
expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and
curriculum development for leaders. • Deep OD/L&D Knowledge:
Deep knowledge of core Talent Development and OD practices,
including leadership development, team development, and
organizational development. • Data-Driven Innovation: Ability to
use data, employee voice, and design feedback loops to drive
ongoing innovation and continuous improvement. Consulting and
Facilitation • Advanced Facilitation: Proven ability to facilitate
engaging and impactful learning experiences for leaders at all
levels, including senior executives (VP). • Consulting Acumen:
Ability to coach leaders on complex issues related to leadership
development, employee engagement, change management, and team
dynamics. Influence, Partnership, and Communication • Influence &
Presence: Strong professional maturity and presence with the
ability to build trust and influence stakeholders and leaders
across the organization. • Partnership: Demonstrated ability to
establish strong, collaborative partnerships with HRBPs and leaders
across the organization. • Communication: Excellent communication
skills, including written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation,
with experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional
teams. Operational Excellence and Agility • Process Orientation:
Highly organized and process-oriented, with the ability to manage
competing priorities, adhere to strict timelines, and maintain the
highest quality standards. • Autonomy & Collaboration: Ability to
drive work independently, take initiative, and operate effectively
within a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong
cross-functional collaboration. • Flexibility & Adaptability:
Demonstrated ability to navigate organizational ambiguity and pivot
strategic priorities in response to evolving business needs and/or
internal data insights. Innovation • Digital & AI Fluency:
Knowledge of emerging AI technologies in the L&D space, with
the ability to evaluate design tools that enhance learner
personalization and program scalability. Preferred Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities AI/Agentic Fluency: Experience defining
business requirements for deploying LLM-powered workflows,
agents/copilots, or decision support in HR/talent contexts. Prior
experience within the healthcare industry Licenses and
Certifications Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach preferred These

starting at $66.52 - $88.14 per hour The salary of the finalist
selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors,
including but not limited to, internal equity, experience,
