Job Description:
Walmart Inc., a leading global retail giant, is seeking a highly
skilled and motivated Staff Software Engineer specializing in
Machine Learning Engineering (MLE) at our Bentonville, AR
headquarters. This role is pivotal in leveraging machine learning
to enhance decision-making and improve the operational efficiency
of Walmart's mammoth retail and e-commerce operations. You will
collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and
deploy scalable machine learning solutions that drive innovation
and optimize our customer experience. Join us to be at the

Design and implement machine learning models to solve complex
business problems. Work closely with stakeholders and product teams
to define clear project scopes and deliverables. Enhance data
collection procedures to include information that is relevant for
building analytic systems. Process, clean, and verify the integrity
of data used for analysis. Deploy ML models into production and
continuously monitor their performance. Mentor junior engineers and
team members on machine learning techniques and best practices.
Proficiency in Python or Java and popular ML libraries (e.g.,
TensorFlow, PyTorch). Experience with data structures, data
modeling, and software architecture. Strong analytical skills with
the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of
information with attention to detail and accuracy. Adept at
queries, report writing, and presenting findings. Proven ability to
drive ML projects from concept to deployment. Medical Insurance
