POSITION SUMMARY:The Assistant Registrar provides assistance to
the Registrar in maintaining student records at the campus level.
He/she will assist with student enrollment, transfers, and
withdrawals for the campus. RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES: Maintain
records, reports, and correspondence (e.g., physical and
computerized records including student cumulative folders, progress
and failure reports, class rosters, schedule changes, and grad
books). Assist with processing new student records, including
requesting transcripts and records from other schools, setting up
cumulative folder, and entering student data into appropriate
databases. Assist with processing and transmitting requests for
student information, including student transcripts. Assist with
campus administration with the preparation of reports and student
data information. Prepare and distribute student identification
cards. Perform other duties as assigned.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of a high school diploma. Two or more years of related
customer service and or clerical experience. Possess excellent
verbal and written communication skills. Multi-task in a fast paced
environment. Prioritize tasks and manage deadlines. Handle
sensitive or confidential tasks and information. Proficient in
Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Detail oriented.
Adhere to departmental policies and procedures. Possess strong
organizational and problem resolution skills.
