This is a full-time position located on-site at our Modesto plant.Under the supervision of the Storeroom Manager, this position will partner with the maintenance team and supervisors at the plant to maintain accurate inventory and proper documentation including the flow and replenishment of all items in the parts room. Additionally, they will perform weekly inventory checks to ensure accuracy of CMMS and reorder items with low to zero inventory.This position will primarily be responsible for: processing all maintenance purchase orders by entering and scanning data into excel database for filing.entering appropriate data into handheld RF inventory scanner when charging out inventory.operating AMMS computer-based inventory system.monitoring inventory of tools and supplies on hand as well as keep record of issues and receipts.verifying all orders against quote and packing slip for verification of items, quantity, and part numberworking with vendor(s) to clear up any discrepancies with packing slip(s) that do not match quote.checking return tools via Fastenal Machine and/or storeroom tool check out via sign out sheet.performing spot check audits for storeroom clerk accuracy on order picking and staging of kitted parts.cycle counting items (=> 30 SKU'S) research and resolve all discrepancies with inventory that is on shelf.other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Associate degree in the related field or equivalent experience.Minimum 3 years working within a food processing plant storeroom.Must be able to climb ladders and stairs frequently.Must be able to squat, bend, and lift 50 pounds.Must be available to work seven (7) days a week during tomato harvest season Mid-July thru early October (approx. 11 weeks.)
