Job Description:

Diagnose and perform maintenance/preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on trailer units. PM service which includes oil changing and adjustments as well as changing scheduled components like belts and hoses and cleaning of systems Warranty work authorized by manufacture Install CARB compliant equipment to qualifying units Remove and replace complete units from trailer for on-ground repairing needs.--Will be required to work from a service truck at times. --EDUCATION. EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
High School Diploma or Equivalent Journeyman level or minimum 4 years' experience with ThermoKing and Carrier trailer units. Must be EPA certified to handle refrigerants. Must have basic Refrigeration tools Must be willing to work days, swing or graveyard shifts and weekends.--This is a union position and union membership will be required.Safeway is committed to providing a work environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
