Job Description Job Description: Material Handler/Warehouse/Feed Mill Person Note: A pre-employment drug screen and background investigation will be performed. Compensation: $15/hour Plus Benefits. Responsibilities include the following: Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Filling and stacking bags of feed ingredients. Must be able to lift/stack 50 to 60-pound bags of animal feed on packaging line while keeping up with machine. Monday through Friday and maybe some Saturdays. Maintain a safe & clean working environment according to policies and procedures. Adherence to Quality Assurance Policies/Standards for the sanitary handling of Animal Food. Feed mill housekeeping & general facility cleanup. Must be able to work overtime if needed. Insuring that high levels of quality control are maintained. Ability to work closely with supervisor and upper management. Ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions. Intermittently operate forklift in warehouse . Intermittently operate forklift to load/unload pallets of bagged feed on/off trucks. Previous feed mill and equipment experience is a plus. Mechanical aptitude is a plus to assist in performance of preventive maintenance & assist in repair of feed mill equipment. Perform other feed mill related job duties/functions as assigned. Benefits. Eligible for health care benefits 1st of the month after 60 days of full time employment. Eligible to begin accruing paid-time-off six months after hire by company for full time employment.
