Job Summary:Direct, supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, including precision workers, machine set up operators, CNC machinists and machine operators.Essential Functions:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Ensures IMS Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) is upheld in all operations.Provides and records training in accordance with IMS Training Program.Confer and interface with other departments to ensure customer order deadlines are met.Refer to production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments.Plan flow of materials through department.Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.Demonstrate equipment operations and work with safety procedures to employees.Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department.Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure product accuracy and conformance.Work in concert with Production Manager for scheduling of time and resources.Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.Inspect material, equipment and product to maintain organization standards.Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.Maintain appropriate labor-management relationship with subordinates.Maintain confidentiality of Company and Employee information; know what and when to share.Responsible, under guidance of Production Manager, for training efforts for employee development PI201499249
