As part of the Gallo Finance Organization as an Engineering
Overhead Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact
by providing crucial analytical support for the Engineering Centers
of Excellence. By preparing financial reports from data extracted
from SAP (ERP) system and engaging in predictive analysis, you'll
help identify and mitigate operating cost overruns for supported

- Support monthly processes including financial analysis, journal
entry execution, budget variance reporting and forecasting.
- Facilitate monthly meetings with operating budget owners and
leadership to review results and discuss budget risks.
- Develop annual operating plans that achieve company strategies
and growth targets.
- Conducts analyses and research in such areas as financial and
expense performance, depreciation, working capital and
investment.
- Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in operating overhead
costs and other related areas
- Prepares detail of work plan and schedule, completes detailed
analysis and research, identifies options, prepares reports for
management and recommends action or changes for assigned
projects.
- Issues monthly variance statements.
- Participates in the development of department procedures and
performance measures.
- Conducts special financial and business-related studies as
requested.
- Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable
quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If
accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their
understanding and compliance. What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of finance, accounting, audit,
economics, statistics or mathematics experience reflecting
increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 1
year of Gallo experience to include business analytics and
financial modeling work.
- Experience with MS Excel at an intermediate level
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting
locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for
development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of
the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in
addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this
job description. What Will Set You Apart
- Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of finance, accounting, audit,
economics, statistics or mathematics experience reflecting
increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 3
years of Gallo experience to include business analytics and
financial modeling work reflecting increasing levels of
responsibility.
- Master of Business Administration degree.
- Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or
governmental regulations. Experience writing reports, business
correspondence and procedure manuals. Experience effectively
presenting information and responding to questions from groups of
managers and customers.
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing
facts and drawing valid conclusions. Experience interpreting an
extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or
diagram form and dealing with several abstract and concrete
variables.
- Experience performing work that is varied and may be somewhat
difficult in character, usually involving limited responsibility,
requiring frequent evaluation, originality or ingenuity.
Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $58,860 - $98,000
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by
factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and
abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with
market data.
