POSITION SUMMARY: The Machine Technician is responsible for providing quality service in maintaining the normal operation of all equipment's in the facilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

Conduct periodic inspections on assigned equipment according to Preventive Maintenance Schedule

Respond to and complete job requisitions according to request forms and summit to Maintenance & Facilities Manager.
Research, order, and prepare spare parts as needed.
Report any potential problems to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager.
Interact professionally and diplomatically with managers, co-workers, and vendors.
Be available for emergency maintenance.
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma, AA degree in related field preferred.
3-5 years' experience in maintaining machines for Printed Circuit Board companies.
Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
Previous hands on experience with electrical/mechanical tools and test instruments.
Good written/verbal communication skills and ability to generate reports of diagnoses of machines and completed task.
Must have a professional demeanor and good customer service skills with a sense of urgency.
Must be highly motivated and able to multi-task.
Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license required.
