Position Overview: Part-Time, Night Shifts, 16 hours per week
Location: Hospital on W Memorial Rd Department: ICU Step Down Role
Summary: In this role, you will work under the supervision of a
Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide
personalized care aimed at helping patients achieve their optimal
wellness. You will collaborate effectively with team members,
understanding the significance of shared objectives. Your
responsibilities will include performing specific clinical tasks
and non-clinical support activities that are vital for patient
care. Requirements: Education: A high school diploma or G.E.D. is
required, along with enrollment in an accredited nursing program.
Before starting, candidates must submit transcripts showing
completion of Fundamentals of Nursing from an accredited
institution and a list of competencies from their educational
program. It is essential to maintain good standing with the nursing
school while in this position. This opportunity is exclusively for
nursing students; if a student withdraws from their program for any
reason, they will no longer be eligible for the nurse tech role.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
within one month of hire. Physical Demands: The role necessitates
the ability to regularly push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
Candidates should be prepared for prolonged periods of standing and
walking during shifts, as well as the ability to grip, reach, bend,
kneel, twist, and squat to fulfill job responsibilities. Are You a
